EQUALBALANCE™ ENGINEERED CONSTANT SPRING HANGERS
An EQUALBALANCE™ Hanger is a reliable counter-balance with the counterbalance force imposed by a spring coil. By using varying lever arms and spring coil load variation, an accurate constant supporting force is obtained.
EQUALBALANCE™ Constant Effort Spring Hangers provide constant support forces for piping systems which move vertically due to thermal expansion or contraction and where the transfer of support load to adjacent hangers and/or equipment is not acceptable.
Constant Spring Hangers
EQUALBALANCE™ constant effort spring hangers are provided in the horizontal, vertical and upthrust canister types in a range of sizes supporting loads from 10 pounds (5 Kilograms / 44 Newtons) to 98,866 pounds (44,846.5 Kilograms / 439,794 Newtons). EQUALBALANCE™ constant effort spring hangers are available with black iron, prime, shop coat, custom paint or hot dip galvanized finish. Spring coils are powder coated for corrosion resistance and long life.
